More gullible to buy fakes, knock offs, and worthless goods would be my thought. I read somewhere recently eBay saying somthing along the lines that shorter descriptions makes buyers more trusting that the listing is genuine. I think they are trying to steer us to a generic less is best plain text/basic listing content, because it is better for mobile/app viewing and so many sales are now completed on mobile view/app bla bla bla. Please can you try to find out how long it might take to fix as it's fairly important now that sellers are being forced onto it with no obvious opt-out. Obviously I had to opt back out because it doesn't work but 6 weeks later nothing has been done. I did highlight this in a post and also sent feedback from the form itself 6 weeks ago when the new tool was first made available to us. What's the point of having an html option if using it strips out the html already in your template instead of allowing you to use can you feed this back to the relevant team as the html on the new listing tool is totally broken. The new listing tool is completely unuseable as it strips out the html as soon as you use the html view - as you found as well. Just been forced onto the new listing tool today without opting in and without the option to opt out so this is invaluable. If I could give this 100 likes then I would.
